Caviar Isn't Just for Special Occasions

A spoonful of caviar on a weeknight dinner.

Caviar has an image problem. For decades it’s been sold as a symbol — of weddings, of wealth, of a life you’re supposed to aspire to. That’s great for gold-foil packaging and terrible for actually eating the stuff.

Treat it like an ingredient

The fastest way to enjoy caviar more is to stop treating it like a trophy. It’s a salty, savoury, fatty ingredient that makes eggs, potatoes, pasta, and chips taste incredible. Used that way, a small tin goes a long way — and a Tuesday gets a lot better.
